"Gigi Proietti is Sandokan and transmits uproarious wisdom through his mimicking capacities, all the while trying to follow the writer's intentions, who, every other sentence, forces his main character into unreasonable mood swings, into cries that have nothing human, into male expressions." (Carlo Hinterman)
Ugo Gregoretti (Rome, Italy, 1930) is a writer and director of television and radio dramas (from Le tigri di Mompracem to Il conte di Montecristo).
