Alessio Di Zio (Caserta, Italy, 1992) has been interested in visual and musical language since 2001. Self-taught, he made his first feature film, Le favole di Casimiro, in 2011. His debut was met with acclaim, helping him win the Marzocco del Valdarno Cinema Fedic award, as well as the award for best director at the CinemAvvenire Video Festival in Rome. Working with musical band Micro b, he made the video clip Euforica, which was the winner at the Sottodiciotto (under eighteen) Film Festival in Turin.
